Navigating Planes and Bombers

Planes and bombers can be controlled with the joystick, the keyboard, or a keyboard/mouse combination.

Tips for Microsoft SideWinder Joystick Owners

You can turn on a dime when you use the rudder control. Do it just right and see if you can barrel roll. This can be an excellent way to evade heavy enemy fire.

Bombers excel at destroying confused or engaged ground units, like tanks. Use the rudder control to make quick turns while attacking a fleeing ground unit.

Helicopters are easy prey for any fast-moving fighter jet. Make quick hit-and-run attacks on heli squads for the best results.

Joystick Controls

Move the joystick left and right to turn your unit left and right.
Move the joystick forward to move your unit down and back to move it up.
Adjust the throttle to accelerate and decelerate.

Keyboard Controls

Press the LEFT ARROW and RIGHT ARROW keys to turn your unit left and right.
Press the DOWN ARROW key to move your unit up and the UP ARROW key to move it down.
Press the A key to accelerate and the Z key to decelerate.

To grant vehicle control to the mouse, right-click your mouse.
Move the mouse left and right to turn your unit left and right.
Move the mouse forward to move your unit down and back to move it up.
Press the A key to accelerate and the Z key to decelerate.
